Somebody has to care about you!

I am not referring to family and friends, I am sure you have many of those that care about you.

Instead, what I am referring to are businesses online. Most (yes, MOST) could care less about you. This is apparent in their monetary actions, their customer support, and the “head honcho’s” role with the clients.

So ya wanna make some money in the wild west of the Internet? Who can and who should you trust?

Let’s take a look at the 3 points I mentioned above:

Monetary Actions….

Many of the bigger Internet marketing companies are big for only one reason. They overcharge for rehashed, useless, informational junk. If you hear the likes of $100,000 in a week, or 10,000 subscribers in 3 days within a sales letter, run for the hills. Seriously.

Here are a few rules of thumb…

If a product is promoted by all the guru’s, get out. They are all making money off the money you spend on the product. If the product is a $1000, they are all getting at least $500. And to top this Sundae with a poisoness cherry, they don’t even know what is in the product. They are just promoting it because they are part of a “circle”.

If it seems to good to be true, it is. Stay away. Amazing million dollar in minutes claims are nothing short of a good laugh.

If a company keeps their services affordable and does not promote new products to you each and every day (that are not theirs), they are more likely to be legit. You don’t see Sony Playstation promoting games for the XBox…why would one Internet Marketing company promote another Internet marketing company’s product….because it makes them MONEY.

They will do it at all costs.

At Wealthy Affiliate, we keep our membership prices WAY down and our level of service high. We have also never promoted another product besides ours. We don’t want to ruin our image by promoting products/services that we cannot stand behind.

Customer Support….

Don’t trust a company that cannot offer you support as a potential customer.

We typically recommend that you run a test before buying a product. If you don’t get a response within 24 hours (during a Monday – Friday workweek), the company probably is not going to be able to support you within the back-end if you run into issues.

And, if they are an online company and offer NO contact medium, run for the hills. They are more than likely a scam and they do not care for you enough to even provide a simple email address.

Head Honcho Role…

What about support after you join a product, system, or membership. Are they around? Do they even care about whether or not you like their service? Do they use their own service?

Steve Jobs is an avid user of Apple products in the same way Kyle and I are active every single day within the Wealthy Affiliate community. We do not feel that we are better than members because we own it, in fact, we view ourselves as members too.
