During this busy season I want you to make some time to sit down and determine what your goals are going to be in the new year.
For me, the holidays provide some downtime when I can relax and dedicate time to creating some new goals for the next calendar year. Doing this allows me to hit the new year with an arsenal of ideas and tasks that will get me out of the gates running (well…sprinting). January until April are typically the strongest months of the year for online sales as there is a huge surge in traffic.
Are you ready to take advantage of this?
My suggestion to you is to go “old school”. Get a pen and paper to make a list of goals.
Here are a few example goals for 2011 that you might have:
* Start ramping up your Article Marketing & SEO efforts
* Get that website filled with fresh and relevant content
* Dedicate 10 hours a week working on Internet marketing
* Get 100 clicks a day to your affiliate links from your articles
* Earn $50 per day consistently by April 2011
* Earn $100 per day consistently by July 2011
* Earn $300+ per day consistently by December 2011
The reason for creating goals is to give you something to strive for.
My List for 2011 looks a little like this:
* Help every new member at Wealthy Affiliate get their articles ranked in the Search Engines
* Help every member at WA drive consistent traffic to their website
* Create a new way to earn online from something everyone already does
* Continue to push the envelope with the Wealthy Affiliate University
* Create a success story out of every member that joins WA
